– Obviously Gotessons is certified for both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 says Stellan Bygård, quality and environmental manager at Gotessons.
With a high turnover, freight shipments efficiency is an important factor and emphasis in production has been placed on environmental thinking and durability.
– You should never see environmental efforts as a cost. For us it's the opposite. Efficient manufacturing processes and smart transport provides both a lower environmental impact and lower prices.
The same applies in daily work to ensure high quality products, supplies and services. Stellan Bygård continually reviews this process.
– In our warehouse small efficiencies to quickly meet customer orders are ongoing daily. But equally important is the control of our suppliers, through audits, visits and daily contacts, assuring ongoing quality daily as far as possible.
What would you say shows that Gotessons is a quality conscious company?
– Even if a customer bought a product from us ten years ago, we make sure to shake up spare parts if needed. The flexibility I believe makes us unique, beat Stellan Bygård fixed.
